M2M and Lockheed Martin form Strategic Alliance to Provide Internet SCADA to Industry and Government

Englewood, Colorado - April 26, 2023 - M2M and Lockheed Martin Technical Operations (NYSE - LMT) announced the formation of a Strategic Business Alliance in a collaborative effort to avail M2M's products to government and industry customers. M2M's iDATA and iSCADA services will provide government agencies the ability to monitor and control remote or geographically disbursed, mission- and business-critical equipment, systems, and facilities and to share operating information with decision-makers who may also be geographically disbursed.

As the world leader in mission-critical systems integration, communications, data center support and logistics, Lockheed Martin is perfectly positioned to offer complete, end-to-end solutions to government and industry customers. This technology represents a giant leap forward from traditional SCADA type systems at a fraction of the cost, and is particularly well suited for applications such as telemaintenance and minimally manned or unmanned operations. This technology is both programming free and platform independent. These attributes make it a natural choice for new system implementations or for legacy system upgrades, and is the only technology available that can truly integrate an entire enterprise. The M2M solution is currently in use in the oil and gas and electrical power generation industries, and its application to other industries is virtually unlimited.

"It's a natural extension of what we do best," said Rob Renner, Director of Military Programs at LMTO. "LMTO will provide the resources necessary for rapid, large-scale deployment. This is something Lockheed can take to its existing customers as a better and less expensive way to accomplish their missions and also give them the confidence that Lockheed Martin stands behind the implementation. This is a clear win for both companies."

Under the alliance, M2M will provide its patent-pending, field-deployed hardware, and will host the core application software in its world-class data center. LMTO will provide system engineering and integration, communications, on-going logistics and maintenance support, and will host the core application software and data storage in its secure facilities for government, national defense, and other classified data. "Lockheed Martin's technical expertise, their worldwide presence, and their Government market penetration make them a perfect partner for us" according to Bill McKinnell, M2M's Vice President, Marketing & Sales. "Their experience in developing and deploying unique, mission-critical systems allowed them to quickly see the wide variety of applications for this product, as well as the value it represents to their customers. The M2M in our name means machine-to-machine and no company integrates varied types of machines better than Lockheed Martin."
