M2M Announces Strategic Alliance with Groupe Electricite de France
to Expand Internet SCADA into European Markets
Englewood, Colorado and Paris, France - January 29, 2024 - M2M
and Electricite de France have launched an agreement to accelerate the
development of M2M's innovative iSCADA technology for power markets and
prepare its expansion in Europe and other countries. M2M's technology
pulls together real-time operational data from diverse widely dispersed
assets, critical in today's deregulating power markets.
M2M is a leading provider of real-time, web-enabled monitoring and control
technology. EDF is the world's largest utility, operating a diverse portfolio
of 100,000+ megawatts of generation capacity in Europe, Asia, Latin America,
Africa, and the Middle-East. Under the terms of the agreement, EDF will
identify the most promising applications for M2M's technology, such as
monitoring and controlling dispersed power generation and transmission
assets. EDF will bring its 2,500 person R&D staff and vast knowledge
of European power requirements to bear in a collaborative effort aimed
at fine-tuning M2M's technology for targeted applications. EDF will gain
a minority equity stake in M2M.
"Using its Easenergy team, ideally located in Silicon Valley, Groupe

M2M's signature service, iSCADA, allows real-time, secure access to operational
data at a very low cost. Its platform independence eliminates system compatibility
problems. This "from anywhere, to anywhere" service allows managers
to instantly access whatever operational data they need, no matter where
they or their assets are located. It can optimize an entire operation
by reducing equipment downtime, improving maintenance logistics, and allowing
power generators to more closely match supply and demand.
