iDA™ service uses M2M software running on a laptop or PDA to allow operators, technicians, pumpers and engineers to collect field data for upload to M2M’s iSCADA® remote monitoring and control service. iDA™ is an economical alternative to M2M’s satellite-based telemetry for the collection of data for which it is not necessary to provide real-time updates.

iDA™ software is provisioned using M2M’s iSCADA® service including M2M’s standard security and authentication processes.

Technicians enter field data using an intuitive graphical user interface (GUI) on an scheduled or ad hoc basis. The full functionality of M2M’s iSCADA® service is available to the user once the data has been uploaded via a secure and authenticated Internet link.
